I first learned of this site purely by accident. My maternal grandfather died before I was born, and he had not been in contact with his children in SC, including my mom, Ann G. MONTGOMERY.

I had given up ever finding his burial site after years of looking in Raleigh, NC area. One day I Googled gravesite and his full name. Up popped Findagrave.com post including photo of his grave in a family plot in Raleigh. He was buried in his second wife's family gravesite.

I hope to help others find links to their family history by volunteering.
