Bio

Now in the autumn of my life I enjoy searching for family information regarding those that lived before me. As we honor those that have departed, let us to also honor those that still live today.

I look back frequently at my humble beginnings, at where I started in life, at those roads traveled, going through some of the roughest roads of life, up and down steep mountains and deep down in the valleys of shadow and death. I've pondered about those many obstacles I've had to overcome and at those obstacles my relatives also had to overcome.

I wish all that will live after I am gone a blessing of good, honest and Christian life, with loving service to many; especially honorable service to God, Country and Corps. For without Them, we are nothing and can do nothing of consequence in life.

My service in the Marine Corps at such an early age forged me by fire, made me into what I ultimately became in life; a server in life as a Marine Corps Sergeant, a decorated Vietnam War and Cold War Veteran, a Deputy Sheriff and almost a State Trooper, my ultimate position in life.

The State Trooper goal was never meant to be, however, due to the many obstacles of life I confronted. Now as the diminishing days of life now come to me and pass me as a blur, I am sorry for not making my goal of life. My failure in life serves others, showing that we sometimes do not always receive what we desire.

Life in itself is a gift to each of us, and all should live it the best we can, for we all do not know the "number of days" we shall live, and when, where, and for how long we shall have that gift of life to share with all those we love.

Live life today to the fullest, being kind, considerate and loving to others.
