I got into genealogy years ago when I was a little girl. My grandmother, Edna Scoggins Godfrey, told me a lot about her family and I knew many of her brother and sisters personally. Many of my distant cousins still live in this area and go to Flint Hill Church. I also married a man who got into genealogy early in our marriage and he's gotten pretty good at finding out information. Now that he is retired, our pass time is finding information on our ancestors. He recently found this website and introduced it to me. Love it. We find grave on this site and then drive out to see them for ourselves. It's become a fun hobby.

I live near Pleasant Hope Baptist Church Cemetery and Flint Hill Baptist Church Cemetery if anybody needs pictures from there, I'd be willing to find a grave for you. I'm 5 miles outside of Rome so I can go to East View Cemetery and Oaknoll Cemetery.
