Bio

I started researching my family history after the death of my father. After some conversations with a few of my siblings, I decided to try and either prove or dispel some family legends and had plenty of help along the way from a multitude of cousins. My ancestors began their journeys in England, Ireland, Scotland, and the Netherlands, and settled in New York, Georgia, Florida, Wisconsin and Canada. I became involved with Find A Grave after a distant cousin suggested it and after I read a lengthy article on the ruinous conditions of many old African-American cemeteries in the south. We have the means to document cemeteries now. Nothing lasts forever.
