When I started researching family ancestry, I found Find a Grave to be an amazing tool. I'm able to take headstone photos on occasion, but plan to do much more when my kids are older. I love to connect people with their ancestors.

Feel free to use any headstone photos that I have provided in any way you like. However, if you would like to use any of my photographs of people, please contact me for permission.

One of my favorite ideas of remembering our ancestors comes from author David Eagleman and his book Sum: Forty Tales from the Afterlives. The idea is that there are three deaths: one is when the body dies, the second is when you are buried, and the third is when you are no longer remembered by anyone still alive. I like to think I'm keeping my ancestors precious memories alive. Thank you to everyone helping to maintain memory of those long gone.
