Bio

I only learned about this site in 2016 when I started my genealogical research. I found that several of my relatives were being memorialized which aided me greatly in my research.

I thank those people who established memorial pages for some of my relatives. These people were kind in transferring maintenance of my relatives’ memorials when I asked for the transfer.

I also started some of the memorials myself. These memorials were based on my genealogical research. I do my best to be honest about my family without being unkind to them now that they’re dead. Some of my family did some harsh things in their lives. Fortunately, this wasn't a common occurrence. I don’t want to be judgmental, there’s nothing gained by being cruel.

If you find a memorial that I maintain and you’re more closely related to that person than me, I’ll gladly transfer the memorial. The best way to request a transfer is to use the method recommended on the website - Log in, go to the memorial page, go to the “Edit” page, go to “Suggest any other correction or addition”, make your request, and allow me a day or two to respond (also, remember to include your relationship to the individual).

If you have a photo of a grave marker for an individual’s memorial that I maintain, please add the photo. If you have information you would like to add or recommend a change, please do so. If you have questions, please contact me.

I’ve tried to be accurate in my postings to the memorials. I attempt to use primary source material (i.e., wedding certificates and birth certificates), when possible. Sometimes the information comes from secondary sources like newspaper articles and census reports, which are often inaccurate with misspellings, etc. If you have primary source material that disagrees with information on a memorial I maintain, please let me know and I’ll be happy to change the information.

Again, I thank all those who came before me and did so much. I hope you gain something by reviewing all the memorials on this website.
