EDIT JANUARY 4, 2020: I CONNECT FAMILIES, NOT HOBBYISTS. I WILL CHECK YOUR PROFILE OUT BEFORE I FULFILL YOUR REQUEST. IF I SEE NO CONNECTION TO THE NAME YOU ARE REQUESTING, I WILL NOT FOLLOW UP. DO NOT REQUEST PHOTOS FROM ME IF YOU ARE A "COLLECTOR".
I've lived in the western foothills of Maine all my life. My family lines run up through; paternal- McCafferty and Dunlay, maternal- Lemay and Bartlett.
Unlike most, I don't have a problem transferring graves to others. If it's your family, it's yours. There are two reasons that I have graves that aren't related to me. The first is because I fill requests regularly and end up with an extra family member of the originally requested person when I get home. The other reason is that I'll take pics of random/interesting graves that grab my attention while I'm out finding family.
Dead people are my passion. They were here and deserve to be remembered. As I set out to fill requests, I do so with the idea that I'm connecting family members, or at least people that care. When I visit cemeteries, I am that person wandering around talking to stones, saying prayers and cleaning things up. Please don't hesitate to message me if I can help you find someone in the western foothills of Maine that you care about. I'm not opposed to any travel in Maine but, it might take some time/planning.
