My sister and I have been tracing our roots and relatives and namesakes since 1990 with my sister doing much of the early legwork searching microfilm at the Family History Center and the Federal Archives before so much information was available online.
I have had the good fortune to be able to connect with many relatives to gather much information not publicly available. I have also spent some time in Germany looking for ancestors, finding four additional generations beyond my immigrant great great grandfather.
