My mother's family settled in Maine as far back as 1799, from what I've been able to learn, but I surmise it was earlier than that.
I am related to Erskin York (Yorkie the Clown), Eino Anderson (of the Finnish Museum in Owl's Head)), The Achorns, Carletons, Ingrahams, Youngs (from Matinicus Island), the Snows from Spruce Head. I am looking for relatives.
