Bio

I am a relative newcomer to the field of family history, only since late 2001. It is amazing to me to see the amount of information that is available on the internet and the ease of use in just a few years compared with when I started, looking at microfilm.
I am retired from a 30+ year career in railroading. Most of that time as a train dispatcher, working in the Philadelphia area and frequently moving trains in Detroit, MI. I also volunteered as a firefighter for 25 years, spending time teaching fire safety in schools and as treasurer for the company, in addition to driving the trucks and firefighting.
