Mom always forced my head out of the picture!
I am from Northern Virginia but my father was from the Tower City area of Pennsylvania. He was a product of the Palatine immigration in the 1700s. My father joined the Navy and after getting some very useful training took a job in the DC area. This is where we stayed. I have a bachelor's degree in IT from George Mason University and a master's degree in IT from American University. I started doing ancestry.com after my father passed away. I found the find a grave site looking for him. I am slowly learning the details of how to do Find A Grave. I truly appreciate all the people who have been so kind when I have asked them to transfer a relative of mine over to me. It started with my father's site which I didn't know existed, and someone had taken a picture of his grave plate in Arlington National Cemetery and created a site for him. Thanks to all of you.
