Bio

Peadar was born in Belfast, the eldest son of Edward Joseph Little of Borris, Co. Carlow and Úna Miriam Ó Briain of Killiney, Co. Dublin.

In 1963, the family moved to Limerick. Peadar attended Crescent College SJ, and later NIHE Limerick, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Electronics. He was among the first ever graduates of NIHE in 1972. He earned a Master's Degree in Applied Mathematics at the University of Virginia in 1976.

Following graduation, he married Janpim Punyaniya, a native of Thailand. They had three children, all born in Charlottesville, VA, where they now live, along with five grandchildren. He worked as a design engineer and project manager for General Electric Co Factory Automation Products Division, later GE Fanuc, from 1980-2009.
