Some of the last names are Robertson, Holland, Dillon, Brown, Kelly, Bradley, Byrd, and Wilson. Most all of these families lived in the Redwood, Cross Roads, and Scruggs area of Franklin County. And parts of Roanke. The information I have came from my Great-Aunt, Freda Robertson Bays, who passed away in 2013 at the age of 96. Her mind was still very sharp so I feel the things I have updated are very accurate. Several branches of the family go back to the mid 1700's. My mother is Martha Thompson Robertson and the last names on her side of the family are Thompson, Meadows, Ford, Ranson, and Pasley.
