We are in the process of photographing cemeteries around our area. Many older stones will be lost to time and elements in the future.

For Non-relative transfers-Memorial managers can decide if they would like to transfer or not. In any case seeing as they are not related, No , you would not have to transfer. This is Per the site adms.

We also maintain a farm & as we are busy with daily chores. We are currently mapping and cataloging burial locations in several county cemeteries . Please be PATIENCE on edits and/or suggestions! I WILL Get them before 21 days! Thanks to the helpful volunteers who gave their time & dedication to this site. Many memorials were added by previous contributors & may have Wrong information . Many were fallen gravers memorials. . So be kind.. We are working to correct those. Easy to make mistakes~ no- one is perfect.

Right! BUT if I have to contact you and can't or Don't answer a message; ; this will also delay the process!

WITH NEW~ Veteran Status- PLEASE~ add Inscription on Stone TO correct Field, Gender and check all boxes.
Any suggestion for edit or link, I assume you don't Blindly accept edits- so before I accept I do research. And YES , we have an ANCESTRY tree with MANY entries-starting with our Great-grand child and spiderwebbed from there to every direct ancestor , cousin, kin and on & on. We find many Ancestry trees have mistakes,so some Information found on a Public trees are Not always 100% correct. FYI- I DO NOT use FAMILY SEARCH for ANY Information. Too Many that add there are like -- " WELL I "THINK " THEY ARE my KIN- so I will ADD " .... do not recommend any numbers there! Fxyz 479 don't mean nothing to me.
Any links to any outside info sources will NOT be added in a bio. Per help section.

If you FIND an Obit & its is useful as a source-- add it to the BIO~ don't just TELL me where it IS! ) The NEW system for adding Bio & Notes is AWESOME.
PLEASE don't copy the SAME BIO & ; send it to me to add! I may add or may Not- Ok I may declined
I like the NOTE section- it is good for adding the source and IF there is already a Bio-- what CHANGES you'd like to add.

Social Security Indexes can be off.
Where they LAST LIVED is not necessary where they passed . I live in a rural area. Nearest city P. O. is 10 miles away.
Death certificates are good for date and location of death , but some burials location are Not correct, for what ever reasons.
Names changed many For a cemetery.ect. not everyone calls them the same, especially rural family cemeteries.
Birth certificate are great for date of birth, location, and parents.- BUT they can also be WRONG! Remember many generations back could not read or write.
Headstones can be placed decades later by descendants and errors are made.
I ADD the dates inscribed on a stone, not from Other sources , as in birth , death , ect. Have had this done this in past, changed and had another contributor WANT to change it back. So STONE DATES STAND.
DO NOT use any photo's that "I TOOK & added " and use them added ~Back on memorials as your own taken~! Help section on adding photo's says if "you did not take the photo-do not add"! meaning ~If I took it -I added it.

A photo request is to be fulfilled by the a photo (of the headstone) ~ taken BY a contributor/member~ NOT a copied, screenshot, or taken(in any manner) from another memorial's page, or any other source found on the internet! Not a Map or a photo of yourself. AND when NON Headstone Photos~ these are added- PLEASE- click the OTHER Box!
