Bio

American by choice, Irishman by heritage, Englishman by birth, a kayaker, a Grunt (Infantryman), IT Consultant & old school curmudgeon.

I started working on my Family Tree in May 2017. Concentrating on the O'Brien's, the Newkirk's and those associated with them.

I pay special attention to those who have served. We owe them a debt that can never be repaid, at the very least, we must not forget them and their deeds. I've had good success at finding additional information on those relatives who have served.

I am currently compiling information on over 400 relatives that have served our country. That information will be turned into an e-book at some point.

If you have information on the Military service of one of the memorials that I manage or of one of my ancestors, please contact me. Even the smallest piece of info is useful.

Newkirk History
If you are interested in Newkirk History, I would like to invite you to join the Newkirk Genealogy Facebook group. Our members discuss Newkirk and affiliated families genealogical issues. Our discussions are primarily about the descendants of Barent Newkirk (1689-1765).

No politics, no memes, no forward this message type posts. Additionally, each week we feature a relative to honor, we post images, information and share stories about that particular relative.
