My mom received a genealogy journal for subscribing to Reader's Digest when I was a kid, and that's when my love affair with all things old and/or dead began. My grandparents were a big part of my childhood, too, and may explain my affinity for older folks. Death, autopsies, embalming, and decomposition are all things I've a preternatural interest in. So all of that together is how I ended up as a volunteer for findagrave. I enjoy the challenge it more-often-than-not requires as well as the peacefulness of being in a cemetery.
