Each grave is its own history, each name, an individual family member, of someone, somewhere. With the deterioration of each passing year, history is being lost. In taking pictures, and sharing them through FindaGrave, we are able to preserve some of that history, before it's gone.
Besides my genealogy and FindaGrave work, my main hobby is going to some of the more forgotten cemeteries, or even just local cemeteries that can use some TLC, and cleaning the gravestones of my ancestors. I am also open to doing specific requested stones, in an effort to keep the stones maintained as long as possible.
