Bio

I came into this world as the oldest daughter of Frank and Lydia Thomas of Tampa, Florida. My mother's lineage can be identified with my grandfather's family of Albert and Lorena Richards, and my grandmother's side of Garrisons, Morgans, and Ledbetter's around the Asheville/Black Mt., NC area. My mother was the youngest of 7 children.
My father is the oldest of 4 boys from my grandparents Frank and Levene Thomas. I was the first born girl on my father's side for many generations. I was told that my grandfather was part Cherokee from the kentucky area with many brothers. My grandmother's maiden name was Harris with connections to the personal that started the Tampa Tribune Newspaper. She had a sister named Katie that helped raise my father, but never got married. My father has three brothers, Bob, Barry, and Doug. My grandma Richard's gave me the gift of appreciating domestic qualities of being a mountain girl (cooking, gardening, crocheting, sewing, studying the Bible, and praying). My grandma Thomas shared the elegance of fine china, drinking tea, wearing makeup, and appreciation of romance of the 1800's via the many books she would loan me to read. I did not know my grandpa Richards except through stories I was told. My grandpa Thomas was a loving man to me as his first granddaughter that could charm him.
I have three children, and three married siblings, each with their own children.
