George A. Berger, 88, died Wednesday, July 18, in Fredonia.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Dunham Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. A. C. Cook of the First Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Weakley cemetery.

Mr. Berger will lie in state from Thursday afternoon until the hour of the service.

The deceased was born Feb 12, 1874, in Elk County, to Mr. and Mrs. Townes Berger. He was a retired farmer. He was married in 1896 to Alice Hawkins in Erie. She preceded him in death in 1947.

Survivors include; one son C. O. Berger of this city; three daughters, Mrs. Harry Boster of Fredonia, Mrs. Roy Fudge of Augusta and Mrs. John Kelley of Wichita; one sister, Mrs. Sam Ryan of Perry, Okla., 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren.
