Mrs. Andrew was active in the First United Methodist Church of Melbourne, Florida and also in the Melbourne Garden Club. In her past she loved embroidery and created many hand crafted pieces that enhanced her home.

She had worked at Melbourne High School's cafeteria and the Tradewinds Cafeteria. She also worked in printing with Radiation and PAFB with the Civil Service. She retired in 1990.

A memorial service was held November 8, 2012, at 3 pm at the First United Methodist Church, Melbourne, Florida. A graveside inurnment service was held June 19, 2013 at the Alta Vista Cemetery, Hall County, Georgia.
