A. LEO ALEXANDER, 68, of Route 1, Boonsboro, died at his home Wednesday morning of an apparent heart attack.
He was born in Burkittsville, the son of Joseph E. and Bessie V. Smith Alexander.
He was a retired employee of the B&O Railroad.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge 191 AF&AM of Brunswick, and the Tall Cedars of Lebanon 132 of Frederick. He was also a member of the B&O Veteran Employees Association.
He is survived by his wife, Winifred E. Wolfe Alexander.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Bast Funeral Home, with the Rev. Wilson A. Shearer officiating.
Burial will be in the Boonsboro Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.
