My "Uncle Cal." He was the son of Rev. Friedrich W. Beisser and Emelia Heyer Beisser. On May 30, 1942 he married the former Harriet Gorman in Madison, Wisconsin.

Calvin F. Beisser, 63, of 101 1/2 Edna St., Plymouth, died at Plymouth Hopital monday were he had been a patient four weeks.

Born May 21, 1911, at Plymouth, the son of the late Rev. and Mrs Fred W. Beisser, he attended Plymouth schools.

On May 30, 1942, he married Harriet Gorman at Madison. The couple had lived in Plymouth since marriage.

Mr. Beisser worked for Kraft Foods, Plymouth and Sheboygan. He was employed for 10 years by Gilson Bros. Co., Plymouth, prior to retiring due to ill health in 1969.

He was a member of Salem United Church of Christ, Plymouth.

He is survived by his widow and four sisters, Mrs. Vernon Zimmermann, Appleton, Mrs A. C. Andersen, Sheboygan, Mrs. Alma Hirsch, Plymouth, and Mrs. Carroll Rusch, Superior.

He ws preceded in death by two brothers.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Salem UCC. The Rev. Lowell Ferguson will officiate. Bural will take place in Plymouth Woodlawn Cemetery.

Friends may call at Wittkopp Funeral Home, Plymouth, from 3 p.m. Wedneday until 11 a.m. Thursday, and at the church from noon until the time of the service.

A memorial has been established in Mr. Beisser's name.
