Danish Monarch. She was the daughter of Duke Sambor von Pommern. 1248 she married king Christoffer I of Denmark, who was killed by poisoned altarwine in 1259. She was now appointed govenor of Denmark on behalf of her minor son king Erik V Klipping. She is characterized to have had an overwhelming will-power and energy.
