Frances Louise Burkett, 95, passed away May 3, 2013 at Friendship Village of Dayton, OH. She was born May 30, 1918 in Randolph County, IN, the daughter of Wilbert and Golda Anderson Ullery.

Mrs. Burkett was an executive secretary, having worked at Union City Body Co. and the Times-Gazette Newspaper. Frances was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church, and the Delta Theta Tau Sorority. She was devoted to her family and loved spending time with her sons and grandchildren. She loved playing Bridge and Euchre and May was her favorite month.

She is survived by two sons, Kent Lee (Patty) Burkett and Randall Keith (Nancy) Burkett; two granddaughters; four great-grandchildren; and sister, Helen Dershem.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest Burkett (1996); daughter, Jill Kathleen Burkett; sister, Charlotte Byram; and three brothers, Willard, Lowell and Wendell Ullery.

Visitation will be 2-3 p.m. Tuesday at Reichard Funeral HOme, Union City, IN. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday also at the funeral home with Rev. Robert Hart officiating. Burial will be made in Jericho Cemetery, Winchester, IN. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420 with envelopes at the funeral home.
