My best friend's father was a fine man, a true gentleman, a loving husband, the proud father of three sons and a daughter, and an affectionate grandfather. An active member of the Masonic lodge and the Aahmes Shriners, he was a Past Commander of the Legion of Honor in the early 1980s.
