Poet. He is the considered the second National Poet of Poland after Adam Mickiewicz. His work, typified with poems, plays and sonnets, included "Balladyna", "My Testament", "King Ghost", " Fantazy", "Kordian"," Beniowski" , "Agamemnon’s Tomb", "Silver Dream of Salomea ", "Hymn", "Lilia Weneda", "Anhelli". He is buried in Wawel Cathedral, in the same crypt as Mickiewicz.
