Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1905 to 1908. He was born Henry Campbell but later changed his surname to Campbell-Bannerman as a requirement of the will of his maternal uncle, Henry Bannerman, from whom he inherited the estate of Hunton Lodge in Hunton, Kent. He married Sarah Charlotte Bruce on 13 September 1860 at Marylebone, London.
