He played Major League baseball for four seasons (1924 to 1926, 1929) with the Boston Braves and the Detroit Tigers. he played 3 years with the Braves, being a part of their starting rotation in 1925, making 23 startes and having a 7-12 record. After going 3-3 in 1927, he was released, and spent 1928 in the Minor Leagues. He played 13 games for the Tigers in 1929 before his Major League career ended. His career totals were 11 Wins, 22 Losses, 67 Games Pitched, 125 Strike Outs and a career 5.02 Earned Run Average.
