Professional Football Player. For seven seasons (1963 to 1969), he played at the guard position in the National Football League with the Los Angeles Rams and Philadelphia Eagles. Born Donald John Chuy, he attended Nutley High School in New Jersey and played collegiate football at Clemson University. Selected by the Rams during the 5th round of the 1963 NFL Draft, he played in 82 regular season games. During his years with the Rams, Chuy provided key blocking for quarterback Roman Gabriel.
