Actress. The daughter of British actor Herbert Marshall and actress Edna Best. Born in London, she moved with her parents to the United States at the age of six and following her schooling, she marked her Broadway debut with a minor part in the short-lived play "Dream Girls" (1951). She experienced performances in more acclaimed Broadway productions "A Visit to a Small Planet" (1957 to 1958), "The World of Suzie Wong" (1958 to 1960) and "Come Blow Your Horn" (1961 to 1962).
