Robert A. Olson, of Sanford, ME, formerly of Brockton, passed away peacefully, July 5, 2014, at the age of 85. Husband of the late Nancy E. (Swallow) Olson; loving father of Karen Merrifield and her husband John of Sanford, ME and the late Robin Tanguay; dear grandfather of Robert McNiff and his wife Joanne of Beverly, Heather MacDonald of CA, Christina Landry and her husband Sean of Rochester and Bethany Merrifield of Sanford, ME; great-grandfather of Amelia Hussey, Sean Landry Jr., Scarlet Landry, Caroline McNiff and Nicolette Babbin and Jordan Silva. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 No. Main St. (Rte. 28), Randolph. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 1 p.m. in the Funeral Home. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday prior to the service from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Burial in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, at a later date.
