Actor. Best known for his role as 'Tom Willis', who was in an interracial marriage with a black woman, played by Roxie Roker, in the television series "The Jeffersons." Franklin Cover started his career on the stage, before he made his move to film and television. In 1975 he got the role in "The Jeffersons," opposite Sherman Hemsley and Isabel Sanford. The show ran for 10 years. His other television works include guest shots on several shows including: "The Jackie Gleason Show," "All in the Family," "Who's the Boss?" "Will & Grace," "Mad About You" and "ER." He was last seen in 1999 in an episode of "Will and Grace," entitled: 'Object of My Rejection.' He died of pneumonia at age 77.
