Musician. Raymond Berry Oakley, bass player and founding member of the Allman Brothers Band with Duane Allman, Gregg Allman, Richard "Dickey" Betts, Jai Johanny "Jaimoe" Johannson, and Claude Hudson "Butch" Trucks Jr.. He died as a result of injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident. In 1995, he was posthumously inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of The Allman Brothers Band.
