Mrs. W. Cecil Anderson

Statesboro, Ga.; March 30.

Mrs. W. Cecil Anderson, 53, died Tuesday morning in the Bulloch County Hospital after an illness of several months. Before her marriage she was Katie Lou Denmark, the daughter of the late John C. and Alice Rowland Denmark. She had operated a children's shop in Statesboro for the past several years until her health forced her to retire a few months ago. She was a member of the Statesboro Primitive Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, W. Cecil Anderson and two daughters, Miss Fay G. Anderson and Miss Cecelia Anderson, all of Statesboro; two sisters, Mrs. Wally Lee of Statesboro, and Mrs. B. C. DeLoach Sr. of Claxton; three brothers, W. O. Denmark of Brooklet, S. J. Denmark Sr. and T. S. Denmark Sr., both of Alma; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 5 p.m. at the Statesboro Primitive Baptist Church by Elder V. F. Agan and Elder Henry Waters. Burial will be in the East Side Cemetery.

Nephews will serve as pallbearers; Jim T. Denmark, B. C. DeLoach Jr., Harold Denmark, Warnell O. Denmark Jr., Earl Lee, J. C. Denmark.

Honorary pallbearers will be Frank I. Williams, Everett Williams, Jim Donaldson, Dr. C. E. Stapleton, Dr. J. N. Norris, C. O. Smith, Horace Smith, W. G. Cobb, C. B. McAllister, Hobson Donaldson, Billy Simmons Jr., Dr. Bird Daniel, Col. Fred T. Lanier.

The body will be taken to the residence and remain until the funeral hour. Barnes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
