At the age of 15 she was married to Samuel Newton and moved to the farm home where she has lived 78 years. To this union were born two daughters, Effie who married Rev J.W. Smith now deceased and Sarah, Mrs Herbert Weaver.

After the death of her first husband Mrs Newton married his brother Jasper H Newton and continued living on the same farm as the brothers were joint owners. To this union were two children, Anson, who operates the farm and Jessie, wife of Homer Weaver.

Hope this clarifies this. From 90th party celebration in paper from December 10, 1931
