Ware Doyle Edward Ware, age 77, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2014. He was born November 17, 1936 in Webster County, West Virginia to Minnie and James Ware. Doyle graduated from Webster Springs High School in 1954 and served in the United States Air Force in Amarillo, Texas, England, Goose Bay, Labrador and at Lockbourne AFB in Columbus, Ohio until 1963. On June 11, 1961 he married Gretta Jean Moore. He lived in Columbus, Ohio and worked for Western Electric, ATT and Lucent Technologies as a tool and die maker. Doyle retired in 1997 to enjoy family and friends and to golf. In 2010 Doyle and Gretta moved to Tucson, Arizona. Doyle will forever be remembered for his volunteerism with youth, love of dogs and classical music, uncanny ability to sing every verse of an endless list of songs, beautiful stained glass art and quilts, sense of humor and quick wit, story-telling and his enduring, steadfast love of his family.

Survivors include wife, Gretta Ware, Tucson, Arizona; daughter, Lynne Ware (Paul Robinson), West Yorkshire, England; daughter, Lisa (Pi) Polletta (Michael), Tucson, Arizona; grandson, Jennings Michael Polletta; mother-in-law, Florence Moore, Baltimore, Ohio; brother-in-law, Gregory Moore (Cindy), Grandview, Ohio; sister-in-law, Emily Eubank; wonderful nieces and nephews, good friends and his cherished dog, Charlie. Doyle was preceded in death by mother Minnie Duffy, father James Ware, step father John Duffy, brother Jennings Ware, father-in-law Ray Moore, half-brothers and sisters, step brother, brothers and sisters-in-law and beloved extended family members.

Service will be held Saturday, December 6 at DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 550 Hill Rd. N., Pickerington, Ohio 43147. Visitation will be 10-11:30 a.m. with a memorial service following.
