She was born January 27, 1933 in Kitzmiller, Maryland to William Costello and Beulah Rhodes Costello.
She was a Home Health Nurse for many years and a member of the VFW Womens Aux. Post #1589 of Masontown, West Virginia. Moving here from West Virginia, she has lived in Bolivar since 1998.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Marshall Mayfield, five brothers, Lloyd, Floyd, Russ, Ford and Fred Costello, two sisters, Tudy Finch and Sis Bray.
Colleen is survived by her three sons; James F. Mayfield and his wife Jessica of Fair Play, Missouri, Joseph Mayfield of Fair Play, Missouri, Gary Mayfield and his wife Linda of Bruston Mills, W. Virginia, a daughter, Glenna Adkins and her husband Brent of Masontown, W. Virginia and five grandchildren.
