She was a daughter of Eddie Simpson Harrington and Bessie Stephens Harrington and the widow of Evans Willie "Son" Arnette. She was a textile mill worker.

Son and Sadie had Lewis Arnette, Mildred Bessie Arnette Snipes Daniels, Lloyd Evans Arnette, June Frances Arnette Bryant, and a living daughter.

Dillon - Mrs. Sadie Harrington Arnette, 58, widow of Evans W. Arnette, died Thursday in a local hospital after a long illness.

A daughter of the late Eddie Simpson and Bessie Stevens Harrington, she was born in Marlboro County.

Services will be today at 4 p.m. in Cottingham Funeral Home with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery.

Surviving are two sons, Sgt. Louis R. Arnette of Ft. Eustis, Va., and Lloyd E. Arnette of U.S. Navy, Treasure Island, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Crayton Snipes, Jr. and Mrs. Ronnie Bryant of Dillon and Mrs. Harold L. McKenzie of Summerville; and a sister, Mrs. Leonard Marsh of Columbia.
