Duel Glen GOING, 57, of 145 Melrose Circle, North Little Rock, Arkansas, a retired mechanic, died Monday. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church and a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Georgia Cox Going; son, Duel (Alice) Going Jr of Little Rock; five daughters: Mrs. Betty (Don) Kelso of Las Vegas, NV; Mrs. Helen (Junior) Wilson of Jacksonport, AR; Mrs. Jackie (Bennie) Tolbert of Jacksonville, AR; Mrs. Shirley (Dan) Templeton of Little Rock, AR and Miss Ruth Going of the home; his mother, Mrs. Pearl Suggs of Marlow, OK; a brother, Charles Going of Las Vegas, NV; a sister, Mrs. Imogene (A.C.) Hammett of Odessa, TX; and nine grandchildren. Arrangements are by North Little Rock Funeral Home with interment at Rest Hills Memorial Cemetery.

Duel was the first child of Alonzo Stubblefield and Pearl Cathern HOLT GOING.

He married Georgia Lee COX on 25 Jan 1931 in Pocahontas, Randolph County, Arkansas and they had six children, two of which are also taking their rest, Betty Jane Going KELSO, and Helen Yvonne Going WILSON.

Duel died of heart failure while working.

Since Duel passed he has been joined by grandchildren, Cheryl Ann Kelso CLARK, Donna Yvonne Kelso MILLS, Janice Elaine Kelso OLSEN and Joel Tavis COFFEY. He had 2 brothers take their rest prior to him also from heart failure, Alonzo Seburn GOING, and Charles Asro GOING.

Duel is my father.

Cause of Death: Cardiac Arrest while working.
