HAMMOND-Verlyn B.Bolin, 64 of Hammond died 2:32 pm Saturday Sept 24, 1983 in Decatur Memorial hospital. Services will be 1:30 pm Tuesday in McMullin funeral home, Lovington with visitation 7 to 9 pm Monday. Burial will be in Hammond cemetery. Memorials Hammond church of Christ.
Mr. Bolin was born in Hammond,son of W. I. and Lulu Bolin. He was a housing contractor, a member of Hammond Church of Christ and a World War II veteran.
He married Vannis Alexander in 1942. Surviving are his wife, son James of Texas,daughter,Sandra Sue Chenoweth of Hammond,brothers, Clarion of Crystal Lake, Wendell of Hammond,Darrell of Lock Haven, Pa, sisters, Audrey Gregory of Oak Lawn,Betty Osborne of Hammond,three grandchildren.Two brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
