Services for James Paul Adams, 75, of Logansport, will be
held at 10a.m. Tuesday in Kroeger Funeral Home.
He died at 11:12 a.m. Saturday, Sept.25,1999, in Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Born May 1,1924,in Whitefish,Mont., he was the son of Lester C. and Alice Pauline Shreve Adams. On June 19,1948, in Logansport, he was married to Annabel le "Anne" Smith, who survives.
Mr. Adams retired in 1970 as a sergeant in the U.S. Army. He served in the U.S. Navy for six years during World War II, and then in the U.S. Army for 18 years during the Korean
War and Vietnam War, receiving the following awards and decorations: Bronze Medal (Vietnam), six Good Conduct Medals, three Army Commendation Medals, American Defense Service Medal, American Campaign Medal,European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal, Army
Occupation (Germany) Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and Vietnam Service Medal.

Adams, Nashville,Tenn., Robert S. and Faye Adams, Martinez,Ga., and Paul R. and Lisa Adams, Hardeeville, S.C.; a daughter; Alice A.Mow ,Rochester; a sister, Alice Juanita Brew, Costa Mesa, Calif.; 11 grandchildren, Lori, T.J.,Jennifer, James, David, Donald, Robert,Delorea, Justin, Troy and Rachel; three great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews;and two cats, Monkee and Shadoe.
One brother, William R. Adams, preceded
in death.

services. Burial, with military honors, will be
in Bethel Cemetery, Cass County.
