THE FUNERAL OF SAMUEL MASSEY

The funeral services over the remains of Samuel Massey, whose death occurred early Saturday morning at his home near New England, were conducted Sunday afternoon at three o'clock at Bethany church, and the interment was at the church cemetery. The funeral was attended by a large number of the friends of the deceased. Mr. Massey was one of the aged residents of that locality, and was a prominent and prosperous farmer. He is survived by his wife and the children are Cole Massey, of Lubeck; Jerome Massey, of New England, Ira Massey, of Wellsville, Ohio, Mrs. J.M. Wigal and Mrs. S. Adams, of New England; Mrs. E.B. Shook, of Cairo; Mrs. Jennie Webber, of Marietta; Mrs. Joe Windings, of Sutton, and Miss Minnie Massey, who resided at home.
