She married Albert Lewis Austin in 1899 in Summers County, W.Va. They had six children: Julia Brown Austin, Frank Austin, Nellie Grace Austin, Edith Carrie Austin, Richard Albert Austin and Helen Eloise Austin.
Mrs. Austin died 02 Dec 1943 in Mercer County, W.Va., and was buried in the Austin Cemetery, Brown's Ridge, Mercer County.
