This will be updated as soon as I get more information.

This is my grandfather. I never got the chance to meet him but, heard he was very kind hearted, soft spoken, polite and hard working.

My mother Verna was the youngest. She has told me several stories about grandpa Elec. Her mother died when she was the age of 3 (pictured with all the boys). He remarried a lady that didn't much care for my mother, at a young age she would make mom wash dishes in a dark kitchen. She recalls standing on a milk crate to reach the sink. Grandpa knew mom was scared of the dark kitchen and would sit on a wood box in the kitchen until she was finished. Everywhere they went he would carry mom on his shoulders. He was a very loving father to his children but, work sometimes took him away. My mother moved in with several of her siblings throughout the years until she married my dad in 1944.

Later in the years when he came to visit his grandchildren he always made sure he had a pocket full of change. He would pass it out to each grandchild until his pockets were empty.

Thank you Caroline for sponsoring grandpa's memorial. Caroline you are such a wonderful person and a friend forever. For those who don't know, Caroline was the person who first placed Brandon's memorial on Find A Grave. One day I google searched his name and found his memorial here. From that day on I have been surrounded by a wonderful family of Earth Angels and Angels that fly above us. I know that grandpa would be very proud.
