Judy Ann Winstead, age 52, of Thorn Hill, TN was born Sept. 7, 1956,, passed away Dec. 4, 2008 at Hancock County Hospital.
She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Hancock County and was saved at an early age. She worked in the nursing field for several years. She loved gardening, playing with her two grandchildren, and the Lord.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Mary Scearce; beloved son, Johnny Atkins; brother, Jerry Scearce and sister, Fern Scearce Jarnigan.
She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years: Von Winstead of Thorn Hill, TN; son and daughter-in-law: Justin and Mary Winstead; sons: Gary and Jacob Winstead; two precious grandchildren: Isaiah Von Winstead and Angel Winstead all of Thorn Hill, and a host of other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Coffey Funeral Home to help pay for funeral expenses.
Family will receive friends from 12 noon Sunday - 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7, 2008 at Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell. Graveside service will follow in the McGinnis-Harrell Cemetery with Rev. Curtis Reed officiating and Brenda Bolden singing.
Pallbearers: Dennis Allen, Mark Wolfe, Warren G. Brogan, Wes Brogan, Donnie Seals and Raymond Winstead.
