MRS. ADAMS DIED FRIDAY MORNING
Mrs. R.T. Adams died Friday morning at 2:15 at her home on North Mill Street. She had been in poor health for some time and death was not unexpected. The funeral was held at the residence Sunday afternoon. Rev. Frederick Cooper of the Christian Church, of which she had been a lifelong member, conducted the service and burial was in Fairview Cemetery.

Mrs. Adams' maiden name was Lyda Hanley. She was a daughter of Thomas and Bridget Hanley and was born December 25, 1851, in Rutherford, Vermont. At that time her parents had been in this country only a few years, coming from Ireland. They moved to Fort Wayne and later to Chester Township.

She married Richard T. Adams, who died 26 years ago. They were the parents of twelve children. Three died in infancy and two daughters, Mrs. John Goodman and Mrs. Stella Little, died several years ago. Surviving are M.F. Adams, Mrs. Mary Landis, and Mrs. Joe Dunbar of North Manchester, Will H. of Indianapolis, Mrs. Myr Deal of Urbana, Mrs. Earl Kinzie of Indianapolis, and Mrs. Eva Weed of Washington, D. C. There are eleven grandchildren, eight great- grandchildren, one brother, Thomas Hanley, and a sister, Mrs. J.A. Heck.
