Ana was the sixth of seven children, and the youngest daughter. She was named for her father's sister, Ana Stavros Panagakos. On June 23, 1938 she was baptized at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary in Wilkes-Barre. Her Godfather was Daniel Periatos. She attended James M Coughlin High School in Wilkes-Barre.
She married Donald Thomas Weaver on July 4, 1961, and they were later divorced. She never remarried. She raised one son and one daughter.
She enjoyed playing the piano, and loved playing bingo. But most of all, she loved her family. She had a great sense of humor, and I can never remember a time when she and my mother were together that they weren't laughing.
