Mary Jane Larrain, 85, died Wednesday, February 4, 2009, at Mississippi Baptist Hospital in Jackson.
A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, February 13, 2009, at St. Jude Catholic Church in Pearl. Ott & Lee Funeral Home of Brandon are in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Larrain was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1923 to the late John A. McGrory and Mary Quinn McGrory, later attending Notre Dom and Columbia University. Then on August 20, 1943, she married Albert R. Larrain. She taught English and History and then became a full time mom and has lived in Brandon since 1975.
She leaves behind her loving husband, Albert R. Larrain of Brandon; children, Ellen Frances Miller (husband, Richard) of Cody, WY, William V. Larrain (wife, Loren) of Port Arthur, TX, James A. Larrain of Brandon and Jean M. Jordan (husband, Bill) of Pearl; brother, John A. McGrory (wife, Anne) of Glen Gardner, NJ; six grandchildren, Shawn and Eric McCrum, Leslie Bihm, Will Larrain, Chris and Kenneth Jordan; and two great grandchildren, Mason McCrum and Hunter Bihm.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Catholic Church in Pearl.
