Born Feb. 28, 1918, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Elizabeth Crow Holt. Virgie was a homemaker and a member of Mitchellsburg Church of God and attended Perryville Church of God. She loved painting. She painted mostly with oils. She had taken art lessons from artist, Marjory Ellis. Survivors include four daughters, Wanda (W.E.) Taylor and Martha Kathryn Greer, both of Perryville, Shirley Powell of Lebanon and Doris (Jerry) Garrett of Springfield; one son, Harold (Connie) Baugh of Perryville; 18 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and 27 great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her beloved pet, "Cat." She was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Carlie Faye Montgomery. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Wilder Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery.
