Infant son of Charlie Chaplin. Chaplin married 16-year-old child star Mildred Harris October 23, 1918. The couple had one son, Norman Spencer Chaplin, born July 7, 1919. The baby apparently suffered from birth defects and died after three days. Chaplin's 1921 serio-comic film, The Kid, was supposed to have been inspired by Norman.
